1. Who we are

Tenax International Company Limited (“Tenax”, “we”, “us”) is a telecom and IT infrastructure company providing telecom DC power solutions, solar and renewable energy systems, and civil and tower infrastructure services.

Tenax is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you:

  • visit our website tenaxint.com;
  • message us on WhatsApp, including our WhatsApp Business number;
  • interact with our Facebook Page or message us on Messenger;
  • email us, or communicate with us through Microsoft Teams or other business channels;
  • request a quotation, place an order, or work with us as a customer, supplier or partner.

3. Information we collect

Category Examples
Contact details Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, company name, job title
Message content The text, images, documents, voice notes and other content you send us, and our replies
Message metadata Date and time, message and conversation identifiers, delivery and read status, your WhatsApp or Facebook profile name
Business information Project details, site information, enquiries, quotations, orders, invoices and correspondence
Website data IP address, browser type, pages visited and similar technical information recorded in server logs

We collect this information directly from you, from the platforms you use to contact us (such as Meta’s WhatsApp and Facebook), and from your organisation when you are its representative.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiries and messages.
  • To prepare quotations and to deliver, install and support our products and services.
  • To coordinate projects, deliveries and site work with customers, suppliers and partners.
  • To send service messages you have asked for or agreed to receive, such as order, project or appointment updates.
  • To keep business records and meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
  • To protect our systems, prevent misuse and resolve disputes.

We process information on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you or take steps before one, to comply with legal obligations, or for our legitimate business interests where these are not overridden by your rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your WhatsApp or Messenger conversations for advertising.

5. WhatsApp and Facebook

When you message our WhatsApp Business number, your messages are delivered to us through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms. When you interact with our Facebook Page or Messenger, Meta shares the related information with us. Meta’s own handling of your data is governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.

We only send you WhatsApp messages after you have contacted us or agreed to hear from us. You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by replying STOP or by blocking our number.

6. Automation and AI tools

To respond faster, we use a workflow automation system hosted on our own servers. It receives incoming messages, sorts them, and alerts the right member of our team.

Some messages may be processed by artificial-intelligence services to summarise them, categorise them, or draft suggested replies for our staff. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Replies to you are reviewed by our team, and we do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone.

7. Sharing and service providers

We share personal information only where needed, with:

  • Service providers that operate our communications, hosting and software, including Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook), Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email and Teams), our cloud server provider, and AI service providers. They process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Business partners, suppliers and subcontractors, where this is needed to deliver a project or order you have requested.
  • Authorities, courts or advisers, where required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A successor business, in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to this policy.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may store or process information outside Bangladesh. For example, our automation server is hosted in Singapore, and Meta and Microsoft operate data centres in several countries. Where information is transferred, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.

9. Retention

  • Business correspondence and records (enquiries, quotations, orders, project communications) are kept for as long as our business relationship continues and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
  • Automation system logs are deleted automatically after a limited period, normally no more than 90 days.
  • Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

10. Security

We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted administrator access, and limits on which staff can see message content. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your information (see Data deletion below);
  • stop sending you messages, or withdraw consent you have given.

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 16. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

12. Data deletion

How to request deletion of your data

  1. Email info@tenaxint.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Include your name and the phone number, WhatsApp number, Facebook name or email address you used to contact us, so we can find your records.
  3. We will confirm receipt, and will delete your personal information from our messaging, automation and business systems within 30 days. We will then email you to confirm the deletion.

We may keep information we are legally required to retain (for example, invoices and tax records) or need in order to resolve a dispute. If so, we will tell you what we have kept and why.

Deleting your data with us does not delete the messages held in your own WhatsApp or Facebook account, or data held by Meta. You can manage those through your WhatsApp and Facebook settings.

13. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies needed for it to function, and basic analytics to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

14. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
